Nami Saito

Nami earned her B.S in Child Development and minored in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Nami is dedicated to working with children and families. She worked as a preschool teacher, an ABA therapist, and she co-authored a children’s book, aimed at fostering empathy, inclusivity, and psycho-education about autism spectrum disorder to preschoolers. She focused her senior project on the impact of inclusive classrooms for both neurodivergent and neurotypical children.

Currently, she is an early childhood educator at UCSF Kirkham Child Development Center. She also volunteers at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. Nami is a San Francisco native and she is bilingual in Japanese and English.

Nami joined our team at Seesaw in Fall of 2023. As a Practicum Trainee, she supports our team, assists in group therapy, and provides community outreach and research.
